Andrew and the Erasmus Experience
WRLD: Andrew, it’s a pleasure to have you here. You’ve recently traveled to Brazil as part of an Erasmus project. Could you tell us a bit more about your experience?

Andrew: Thank you for having me! Yes, it was an incredible experience. Brazil is such a fascinating city, and I was there as part of an Erasmus exchange program for teachers, focused on sustainable urban development. I got to learn a lot and also share knowledge with colleagues from across Europe.

WRLD: That sounds like a remarkable opportunity! Being a geography teacher, I’m sure exploring a place like Brazil was exciting for you. How did you manage to stay connected during your trip?

Andrew: Oh, definitely! Brazil is a geography lover’s paradise with its unique mix of nature and urban environments. As for staying connected, that was made super easy thanks to WeReload’s eSIM service. I had heard about it before my trip, so I decided to give it a try—and I’m really glad I did.

WRLD: Tell us more about how the eSIM service worked for you. Was it easy to set up and use in Brazil?

Andrew: Absolutely. The process was very smooth. Before leaving Romania, I went on the appstore and downloaded WeReload app and had it set up in just a few minutes. Once I landed in Brazil, my phone automatically connected to the local network, and I had internet data instantly. I didn’t have to worry about finding a SIM card or standing in lines at the airport.

WRLD: That sounds really convenient. How did the internet service perform throughout your stay?

Andrew: The internet was excellent! The speed and coverage were impressive, especially since I was relying on it for a variety of things—whether it was staying in touch with my students back in Romania, researching new teaching materials, or even exploring maps and resources related to my project. There wasn’t a single moment where I felt disconnected, and I traveled all around the city, from the heart of downtown to the more green, suburban areas.

WRLD: Having reliable internet must have been essential for your Erasmus project as well. How did the eSIM help with that?

Andrew: It really did help. The Erasmus program involved a lot of online collaboration, so I was constantly using my phone for video meetings, accessing cloud-based materials, and staying in touch with colleagues. The WeReload eSIM gave me peace of mind, knowing I had reliable internet access without having to rely on Wi-Fi all the time or worry about roaming charges. It made it easy to focus on the project itself rather than the logistics of staying connected.

WRLD: It sounds like WeReload’s eSIM was a perfect solution for you. Would you recommend it to other teachers or travelers in similar situations?

Andrew: Absolutely! For any teacher or traveler going abroad, especially for something as important as an Erasmus project, having a hassle-free way to stay connected is essential. WeReload’s eSIM was a great solution for me—I didn’t have to worry about SIM cards or network issues, and the data plan was flexible and affordable. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a simple, efficient way to have internet on the go.

WRLD: That’s fantastic to hear, Andrew. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us!

Andrew: My pleasure! I hope it helps others in their travels.
